Mark chosen to start Tiptree jams little scarlett race
Great British Master Chef enjoyed a fabulous day in the sun today, away from his usual kitchen duties!
Mark was invited to start the famous Little scarlett strawberry race by Wilkins jam founder Mr. Wilkins on the Tiptree jam estate - a duty that he was happy to perform.
Pickers from all over the country and the continent vied with each other to become the champion strawberry picker and to win the coveted award.
Mark commented that he had "relished" his opportunity despite being late from sitting in a traffic "jam"!
